Profile
Matt is a Level 2 Rifle & Pistol Coach
Matt grew up in the Dallas, Texas area. He attended Texas A&M University where he met his wife. They’ve lived in the Dallas area since finishing college and have a daughter and a son.
Matt was first introduced to shooting when he was 4-years-old by his father and grandfather. His first match was the State Indoor 3-Position Smallbore Rifle Championship at age 13. In high school, he competed in several NRA Bullseye Pistol matches in Dallas.
His first regular training and competition was as a member of the Texas A&M Pistol Team where he competed at the Junior Olympic National Championships and the Intercollegiate Championships and earned a University Letter in pistol shooting.
Matt is former Texas State Air Pistol Champion and has several top-10 finishes at USA Shooting national-level competitions and is currently an assistant coach with Team Shooting Stars.
